Acting on behalf of Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Limited we’re delighted to announce completion of the freehold acquisition of a site fronting Tilemans Lane. Planning permission was granted in August 2025, completion took place in February 2026. This neighbourhood hub new store will focus on providing a good range of fresh, high-quality, produce, as well as a broader range of goods, completing a bespoke grocery offer.
An in-store Click & Collect service will bring together brands of Sainsbury’s, Argos, Habitat and Tu Clothing under one roof, enabling customers to collect their online Argos, Habitat and Tu purchases whilst picking up their groceries.
The store will be well connected to existing pedestrian routes and include cycle parking. Vehicle access will be provided from Tilemans Lane and the store’s car park would provide approximately 50 parking spaces, including ultra-rapid EV charging bays, as well as disabled and parent & child spaces close to the store entrance.
