We are delighted to have represented a private landlord client in delivering Bristol’s first “Little Waitrose” store to Gloucester Road. The store opening marks a significant step for Waitrose who are pursuing a programme of new store openings and store modernisation.
The idea resulted from ongoing discussion with the owner regarding his own occupation of the premises and the potential to relocate his “Future Leap” concept, and active discussions with Savills to monitor their client property requirements. Savills’ appointment by Waitrose initiated the discussion and many months of hard work by all concerned enabled delivery of the new store.
The terms of the transaction are somewhat confidential but the level of rent secured and the terms of lease agreed has secured a first class investment for our client.
